As an affiliate Chapter of the American Correctional Association, your Colorado Criminal Justice Association strives to:
  • Heighten the level of awareness of the criminal justice community regarding the nature of the American Correctional Association (ACA) and the Colorado Criminal Justice Association (CCJA).
  • To provide and broker quality staff training for all Colorado law enforcement agencies at little or no cost.
  • To provide exciting events and activities where members of Colorado's law enforcement, corrections and judicial agencies can network, share information and increase inter-agency cooperation.
  • Increase current membership base to serve all of "Colorado's Finest".

The presenters, Dr. Susan Jones and Dr. Katy Cathcart, have prepared a seminar that will allow each individual to leave with an action plan to improve their reaction to the work and to prepare them for the rest of their law enforcement career.
Presenter Joann Oneal, will be speaking on Human Trafficking. Jo-Ann C. OíNeil, LPC, NCC, Jo-Ann has worked with and advocated for adolescents in a variety of capacities since 1999. She received her Masterís degree in Counseling from Colorado Christian University and is retired from the USAF. She is currently serving on the Colorado Human Trafficking Council as the second of five representatives of a regional or city-wide human trafficking task force or coalition.
